Our Fees

We understand that fees remain a big consideration for most clients as they want to know the potential cost in order to make an informed decision regarding whether to proceed or not. We therefore strive to provide clear fee estimate from the onset while adopting a transparent fee policy. No fees will be incurred on your behalf without your consent.

Our charges, like those of all solicitors, are based on a number of different factors. These include the time spent, the skills, specialised knowledge and responsibility required of the members of the firm handling the matter, the complexity and difficulty of the questions involved, and the circumstances in which the work is carried out.

The most important of these factors is the amount of time spent by members of the firm in dealing with your case. All such time spent is recorded in 6-minute units and charged at an hourly rate based upon the seniority and experience of the person undertaking the work. The current hourly rates of our staff are set out below:

A         Partners/Solicitors/legal executive with over 8 years’ experience – £282.00

B         Solicitors/legal executives with over 4 years’ experience- £232.00

C         Solicitors/legal executives /fee earners of equivalent experience- £185.00 to £210.00

D         Trainee solicitors, paralegals and other fee earners- £129.00

All rates are reviewed from time to time.

We also offer one-off fixed/agreed fees for advice and assistance, whereby the costs are agreed before we commence work.

We are VAT registered. Thus, VAT is applicable on the services that we provide, unless a client is exempted from paying VAT, e.g. when the client is not resident in the UK, or the client had leave to remain in the UK but overstayed or if the client is living in the UK with visitor visa. We will inform you specifically if VAT is not applicable to your case.

Our standard consultation fee is £100, plus VAT (if applicable) for a one-hour consultation. During this time, we will endeavour to establish the full details of your matter and take your full instruction. We will advise you on the options available to you and provide a costs-benefit analysis of these options. You will also have time to ask any question that you may have about your matter and our advice.

We cannot offer legal advice over the phone or by email prior to being formally engaged as your legal representative, but our solicitors and legal consultants are happy to understand your matter over the phone/ by email and offer a consultation if it is required.
